CDA is the largest state dental association in the United States, and as the single largest membership in the ADA, CDA provides a substantial legislative voice for dentistry on the local, state and national level. The CDA’s Council on Government Affairs annually monitors more than 400 pieces of legislation for potential impact to public health and the dental profession – a proactive approach that uniquely positions the CDA to drive legislative and regulatory activity, and effectively communicate member feedback to key policymakers at each level.
